Spring Fair Coming Soon!

Join us on Mother's Day Weekend as we celebrate our Spring Fair with plenty of food, venders, and fellowship. For more information, please call (718)356-8485.  

  Bethel United Methodist Church celebrated its Spring Festival on Friday and Saturday (May 11th and May 12th). We had a wonderful turnout for both the pot roast dinner and the plant sale/flea market. Special thanks to all our wonderful friends who helped make this another great success and to all of the good people who came to enjoy the food and shopping. 11:00 am Worship
   11:15 am  Sunday School for children/youth
   12:15 pm  Social Hour
Communion celebrated on the first Sunday of the  month.
Nursery care is provided for toddlers
Sunday school for children ages 5 and up

Saturday Worship Service at 5:00 pm

Vacation Bible School 2012

Bethel UMC held Vacation Bible School August 7-9 and 14-16. This year's theme: Operation Overboard: Dare to Go Deep with God! Seventeen children and sixteen staff members were involved this year. The children enjoyed learning about scuba diving from Kari Dalquist, had a yoga class with Lauren Schweikert, and got a good lesson in safety from Brian Cancemi and other friends from our own 123rd Precinct - the police car was a big hit!
