Children's Ministry
BETHEL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH HAS A 3-PRONGED APPROACH TO CHILDREN'S MINISTRY:
1. Spiritual growth through worship and Christian education.
These are addressed through Sunday School, worship services, Confirmation class, and VBS.
2. Mercy and Justice Ministries
The prophet Micah (6:8) tells us to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.
We engage our children in ministries that tend to the needs those who are often neglected,
and we encourage our tweens and teens to recognize and address issues of injustice in our world.
3. Recreation
Children need to have fun as they build relationships with God and with one another.
We currently have THREE groups of youth who meet monthly on Saturdays for fun activities.
They are...
THE BOYS' CLUB

All families are encouraged to both attend worship and stay for this church event.
Afterward we will have some poster boards up with all the events listed so ALL the kids can see their ideas on display.
We can then have them rate the nights from best to least.
Ultimately having THEM decide what we will be doing each night for the next month.
This is also where we will finalize the schedule for the next month each month.
Your input and presence are encouraged here so that all of us can make the schedule together.
