Hurricane Sandy Relief Bethel United Methodist Church serves as the host church for the New York Annual Conference Sandy Relief Effort in Staten Island. We host groups of volunteers who come from all over the country to help those who have been impacted by Superstorm Sandy.

Project Hospitality Bethel provides a hot meal for homeless folks every other month as part of Project Hospitality's feeding program. You can help by cooking, delivering the food, or serving. Fellowship Hour Help provide welcome and hospitality by donating time or food to our Sunday social time after worship.This is an easy way to make a big difference in the life of the congregation.Simply help set up the social hall, make coffee, bring goodies to add to the table, and/or help clean up.To serve, please speak with Arlene Schweikert, 718-948-1350.
Mission Support In January of 2012, our organist joined former pastor Will Nichols and members of Moose Lake UMC in Wisconsin on a mission to Sucre Province, Columbia to help serve the community of the Iglesia Colombiana Metodista.
