Keep the Date: May 2nd
Bethel Church will celebrate spring at its annual Springtime Festival on Saturday, May 2nd, 2015. This festival will feature a delicious breakfast and lunch, a fabulous bake sale table featuring fruit breads and pies, beautiful springtime plants, children’s activities, and a flea market. The festival starts up at 8:00 am and continues to 4:00 pm. Saturday morning kicks off with a breakfast that will be served starting at 8:00 am and ending at 11:00 am. Starting at 12:30 pm the kitchen will be open for lunch. The menu will feature pulled pork sandwiches with homemade salads, and hot dogs. An outdoor flea market and bake sale will also take place all day Saturday as well as a plant sale, which will feature beautiful hanging baskets and unusual plants for the garden. Children’s activities include cupcake decorating and face painting. Coffee is on the house, as always, for all visitors. Come shop for great gifts for Mother’s Day! 2nd VISIONING GATHERING MAY 21st
Members of the church gathered on April 23rd to begin a process of visioning. We were led in the discernment process by Rev. Derrick-Lewis Noble, the Director of Congregational Development and Revitalization. Derrick will be continuing to lead us in this endeavor. Our next gathering will be on May 21st, 6:30 p.m., at the parsonage (241 Bethel Ave). If you would like to get involved in the process, please SIGN UP HERE.
